Our Veneers Process
At your first veneer appointment with FACEmed, you will receive a full dental assessment including radiographs to ascertain your general dental and oral hygiene status. Your dentist will explain whether or not you are a suitable candidate for veneer treatment, and if it is the best course of action to achieve your end goal. We work very closely with each and every patient that steps through our doors to ensure that the procedure you pick is correct for you and will achieve the end result that you are searching for.
The next phase is the ‘Wax-Up’ stage, which is where impressions of your teeth are taken in order to fabricate a model with veneers in wax to better demonstrate to you the aesthetic goals and to show you what your smile will look like. We will then invite you back in for a review of your wax model, to discuss your new smile further and make any changes or adjustments that you may want.
From here we will book you in for a preparation appointment and then your final fit appointment, where we carefully and artistically cement your new veneers into place one by one. They are then finished, and polished to a life-like shine. By the end of this appointment you will be ready to leave the centre with a shiny new porcelain smile.
