Morpheus8 uses medical and surgical microneedling depths combined with radiofrequency (RF) ablation technology to penetrate the deepest subdermal layer of skin. This process promotes natural collagen and elastin production, which tightens and rejuvenates the skin’s tone and texture. While microneedling produces controlled damage to the subdermal layer, radiofrequency simultaneously delivers heat waves at the same depth, stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin. The surface of the skin is protected and not damaged.

Suitable for all ages and skin types, Morpheus8 is proven to improve skin tone, laxity, and natural contours while reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

The treatment area is cleansed and numbed using topical anaesthetic cream. The clinician uses a handpiece with 24 fine needles pressed against the skin for high-speed penetration at a depth of between 2mm and 8mm, depending on the area being treated. Patients report experiencing mild discomfort depending on the treatment area. The recommended treatment protocol consists of 1-3 sessions 8 months apart. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes, with around 1 hour needed in total to complete numbing and consent. Immediately post-treatment, you will glow with a radiant, more ‘plump’ appearance, with redness that can persist for 24-48 hours.

PRP therapy involves extracting platelet-rich white blood cells from red blood cells, which are then redistributed into the desired area through the practitioner’s method of choice (topically, injection, or microneedling).
