Many malformations or distortion of the facial features can be congenital or acquired due to severe burns, trauma or deformity following surgery.
Facial deformities can be corrected to maintain the balance of the facial features and to avoid disabling psychological distress so that individuals can carry on with their lives as normal.
FACEMED offer non-surgical medical treatments to correct facial deformities.
Perfect symmetry is not the goal; instead, we aim to create an improved balance between the two halves of the face. Research highlights the importance of symmetry, but achieving a perfectly symmetrical face through non-surgical or surgical correction is both unnatural and often impossible. The focus is on enhancing the balance and minimising the appearance of malformations.
The correction of facial asymmetry can be accomplished through various methods. The cause and severity of the condition often dictate the appropriate treatment approach. For minor soft tissue-related asymmetries, non-surgical treatments like dermal fillers or facial volumisers may be suitable. These treatments help sculpt specific areas, improving the definition, shape, and contour to create a more balanced appearance.
Non-surgical procedures with dermal fillers, volumisers, or muscle relaxants are designed to enhance facial balance. Monica Berrange, our experienced aesthetic practitioner, carefully assesses each patient to determine the best treatment plan. This may involve:
Dermal Fillers and Volumisers: To add volume and improve facial contours.
Muscle Relaxants: To adjust brow positioning and improve facial symmetry.
The results of non-surgical treatments are temporary, and a personalized treatment plan will be established to maintain the effects.
In some cases, non-surgical interventions may be ineffective, and surgical correction may be recommended. Patient assessment and selection are major factors in diagnosis and treatment planning, ensuring that the chosen method aligns with the individual’s needs and goals.

Surgery may be recommended when non-surgical interventions are deemed ineffective based on the cause and severity of the asymmetry.
Monica is extremely skilled at what she does, every procedure I have had has made me look natural, refreshed and more youthful. She is very professional and gives me confidence in her abilities. The clinic is absolutely spotless and run efficiently. I have been seeing her for several years and would highly recommend her services.
To say I’m pleased with the service is an understatement, outstanding patient care and a first class service. Doctor George and Team are by far the best dental team I’ve experienced. The FACEMED facility is of the highest standard and I highly recommend that anyone looking for any dental treatment to look no further than here.
Monica is truly amazing. The results are phenomenal and very natural. Monica spends time assessing your particular facial structure and physiology and treats accordingly, always being careful to produce the best results – she provides a bespoke service and her years of experience are priceless – I travel an hour to go to her! Would highly recommend and will never go anywhere else!
I hadn’t been to the dentist for year as i’ve always been too scared!! I plucked up the courage after Dr Ketan Sheth treated my 9 and 11 year old children and they were fine. Can honestly say now I don’t know why I didn’t go sooner. Dr Ketan Sheth is a fantastic dentist and all the staff and the surgery as a whole there is 5 star! Thank you for all your help and see you in 6 months.
I have been using FACEMED for a number of years now for natural, painless Botox injections. A few years ago I decided to also have Blepharoplasty Eyelid Surgery. The clinic has its own operating theatre for the Consultant Plastic Surgeon to perform surgery, the results were perfect. FACEMED is immaculately clean, the staff are professional and helpful and Monica is an absolute expert in her field.
I love my experience when visiting FACEMED. Such a relaxing, professional atmosphere. Furthermore, I look forward to seeing the results of my treatments, of which I am never in doubt. I totally recommend FACEMED for truly excellent results.
All treatments are paid in full at point of delivery.
