Growing in demand and popularity over the last few years, composite bonded veneers are a convenient option for patients who want fast, effective results without altering their natural teeth.
While composite bonding works best in combination with other treatments such as teeth straightening and whitening, it is a versatile and cost-effective treatment on its own for patients looking to transform their smile – in just one day!
Composite bonded veneers consist of a thin layer of composite material placed on the front surfaces of teeth to change the appearance of your smile. They are ideal for improving teeth that are discoloured, chipped, rotated, or spaced, whether it’s a single tooth you wish to reshape or multiple.
Composite veneers offer a quick and convenient way to enhance your smile in a single dental visit. They provide flexibility in design and can be customised during the application process to achieve your desired look. If you seek immediate results with minimal alteration to your natural teeth, composite veneers are an excellent choice.
At your first appointment, you will undergo a full dental assessment, including radiographs, to evaluate your dental and oral health. The dentist will determine if you are a suitable candidate for composite bonding and discuss whether it aligns with your treatment goals. Any necessary pre-treatment procedures will be incorporated into your personalised treatment plan.
Unlike traditional porcelain veneers, composite bonded veneers can be completed in a single session. Once you and the dentist have decided which teeth will receive veneers, the appropriate amount of time will be scheduled for your treatment appointment. This allows you to leave with a new smile on the same day. Unlike porcelain, composite material allows for real-time adjustments to the shape and appearance of your teeth during the procedure.
Maintaining your composite bonded veneers is crucial for their longevity and appearance. They are susceptible to staining like natural teeth and require impeccable oral hygiene. Regular polishing is recommended, typically about twice a year with a hygienist or dentist, to maintain their shine. Additionally, nightguards and a strict regimen of brushing, flossing, and regular visits to the hygienist will help you get the most out of your beautiful new smile.

Yes, damaged composite veneers can often be repaired without needing to replace the entire veneer. Promptly addressing any issues helps maintain the integrity and appearance of your smile.
Composite veneers are more prone to staining compared to porcelain veneers. Practising good oral hygiene and avoiding staining substances can help minimise discolouration.

While composite veneers are durable, avoid biting hard objects or using your teeth to open packages. Maintaining good oral habits and avoiding habits that can damage them will help preserve their appearance and function.
Monica is extremely skilled at what she does, every procedure I have had has made me look natural, refreshed and more youthful. She is very professional and gives me confidence in her abilities. The clinic is absolutely spotless and run efficiently. I have been seeing her for several years and would highly recommend her services.
To say I’m pleased with the service is an understatement, outstanding patient care and a first class service. Doctor George and Team are by far the best dental team I’ve experienced. The FACEMED facility is of the highest standard and I highly recommend that anyone looking for any dental treatment to look no further than here.
Monica is truly amazing. The results are phenomenal and very natural. Monica spends time assessing your particular facial structure and physiology and treats accordingly, always being careful to produce the best results – she provides a bespoke service and her years of experience are priceless – I travel an hour to go to her! Would highly recommend and will never go anywhere else!
I hadn’t been to the dentist for year as i’ve always been too scared!! I plucked up the courage after Dr Ketan Sheth treated my 9 and 11 year old children and they were fine. Can honestly say now I don’t know why I didn’t go sooner. Dr Ketan Sheth is a fantastic dentist and all the staff and the surgery as a whole there is 5 star! Thank you for all your help and see you in 6 months.
I have been using FACEMED for a number of years now for natural, painless Botox injections. A few years ago I decided to also have Blepharoplasty Eyelid Surgery. The clinic has its own operating theatre for the Consultant Plastic Surgeon to perform surgery, the results were perfect. FACEMED is immaculately clean, the staff are professional and helpful and Monica is an absolute expert in her field.
I love my experience when visiting FACEMED. Such a relaxing, professional atmosphere. Furthermore, I look forward to seeing the results of my treatments, of which I am never in doubt. I totally recommend FACEMED for truly excellent results.
All treatments are paid in full at point of delivery.
