Will my teeth be sensitive?
Enlighten promises low sensitivity. You will be given a toothpaste that has been especially formulated to lessen sensitivity two weeks before you start to whiten. The kit also includes desensitising swaps that you can use at home whilst whitening.
How long does it take?
The whole process normally takes around one month from the impression stage to the final in surgery whitening.
Do I have to avoid certain food and drinks?
It is best to avoid foods which have coloring. So, avoiding food and drinks like curries, beetroot, red wine etc will encourage quicker long-lasting results,
How long will it last?
Patients are recommended to use their trays one night EVERY OTHER MONTH to maintain the colour of the teeth. This can be increased to one night EVERY MONTH according to patients lifestyle e.g. smokers.
