David gained a Bachelor of Science from University College London and The London Foot Hospital in 1997. In his final year he was awarded the Philip Cutner prize for Medicine and Surgery. He simultaneously started working in the NHS and in private practice. Private practice allowed him to develop his clinically interests in sports medicine and biomechanics. This has allowed him the opportunity to be involved in the care of elite athletes in Football, Rugby Union and Athletics.
After some years working as a clinical assistant in surgery, David commenced Podiatric surgical training and was awarded a Master of Science degree in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery and was elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Podiatry (Surgery) in 2017.
He has presented at several national conferences and enjoys involvement in several professional study groups.
David is nearing completion of specialist training and enjoys his role as a specialist registrar in Podiatric Surgery in the NHS as well as maintaining his private practice interests. He believes in a patient centred approach to care and has works closely with other healthcare professionals in order to provide the most appropriate care for patients.
Originally hailing from Essex, David still lives locally with his family. He has a keen interest in sport and music and is currently involved in coaching junior girl’s football.
David Goyette has no financial interest and is not a shareholder within FACEMED nor does he have any financial share or interest in equipment used at the centre. David Goyette does not hold any paid advisory roles at this centre or within FACEMED. He has full practice privileges at FACEMED but is not under employment.
